Vintage Pyrex 043 Mod Kitchen 1 1/2 Quart Casserole Dish with lid

This is a rare vintage Pyrex 043 Mod Kitchen 1 1/2 quart casserole dish with lid. The dish was only made for one year in 1958 and was a promotional piece. It features a black design of fish, carrots, apple, salt, pepper, mushroom, onion, and more on a light yellow background. The backstamp Pyrex USA is marked on bottom. This stunning casserole is considered a mid-20th century classic. It is perfect for Pyrex collectors or those who have vintage kitchen decor. This casserole is in good condition. Great luster both inside and out. When held up to light as seen in photos the dish is brilliant. One concern however is a discoloration on rim that is smooth to touch but appears to have a minor hairline crack? Please see last few photos. Lid is in great condition, no chips or cracks, minor surface scratches. Definitely a rare and unique piece of Pyrex history and is truly a gorgeous piece despite that one flaw, especially for its age. Would make a great addition to any Pyrex collection.
